Tattoo Education
Tattoo Education doesn’t start in school
Modern tattoo schools In Oregon are a requirement to obtain licensure. These school tout a rigorous education that will prepare you for the real-world of tattooing.
They lie.
These schools are manufactured for profit and only teach students how to pass the test for licensure. They do not teach you how to tattoo, they teach you how to tattoo safe.
We actually do teach people how to tattoo.
Our founder is known exactly for that. For the past decade hisfocus has been on educating tattooers, of any skill level, how to tattoo on any person, any age, with any skin type..
We can Help
After graduating tattoo school, artists are left with little support and a false sense of security about their skill levels. Many of these graduates not being able to find a tattoo shop to work at open their own private studio.
While this does enable an entry into the industry, the outcomes of self-taught or social-media-led educational outcomes are bleak. Time spent triaging simple mistakes, sourcing information that isn’t vetted, or attempting repairs with no knowledge on how to approach them puts clients at risk. It also wastes years building foundational knowledge that could easily be gleaned from a short, mentor-led, critique.
